An Evening of Bridge 2026

The annual Bridge Evening took place on 28th January 2026, at The Holy Trinity Church Hall on Brook Green. A group of bridge players came together to enjoy a Bridge tournament, alongside a generous two course supper and bar.

A huge thank you to the Brook Green Events Committee, of Aaron, Brian, Emma, Gilly, Isabel, Jane and, for this event in particular, Vicky, for organising the evening and inviting so many guests. Thanks are also due to the chefs for preparing the lovely supper and to the bar and kitchen volunteers for looking after all the guests so well. Once again, the wonderful Finlay Brewer Estate Agents team generously covered all costs, including the prizes, as well as sending a team of volunteers to help on the night.  

Further gratitude goes to Catherine for masterminding the Tournament. The prize for last pair winning a trick with a two went to Horatio and Alex. Annabel and Jamie won the whole tournament, with Annabel also winning the prize for making a grand slam. !A fun evening was had by all, and we are so pleased it raised over £2000 for WLAC!
