What is Free Talk?

Free Talk is a group for teenagers aged between 13 and 15, providing a facilitated safe space where they are free to speak out and to be heard.

 

What to expect

Minimal intevention from the WLAC therapist in the 75 minute session and snacks are provided!

 

Benefits

  • Gaining the respect and attention of peers.

  • Hearing others' points of view in a calm environment.

  • Learning that even if you aren't the same as someone else, you can still relate to them.

 

How to get a referral

Free Talk can be run in schools or within our centre at Gertrude Street.

Young people can be referred by a professional or self-referred by contacting WLAC at team@wlac.org.uk
