April 2025
Dear Supporter,
As we welcome back sunshine after a very long winter, it’s such a tonic to spot the daffodils and enjoy the beautiful magnolia, hyacinths and tulips.
Alongside the regular therapy and counselling sessions, the team has been busy with the weekly Dads Matter group, supporting fathers and stepfathers to reflect on being a dad and to strengthen relationships with their children; and the final few weeks of this term's Mighty Me group, facilitated by two of our therapists at a local primary school, have helped seven children in Year 5 to identify their feelings, increase awareness of their strengths and to worry less.
Please see below for updates on fundraising events on which our vital services rely. Thank you, as ever, for all of your support.
With best wishes from the WLAC Team
