WLAC Annual Meeting

  • West London Action for Children 15 Gertrude Street London, England, SW10 0JN United Kingdom (map)

Join us for our Annual Open Meeting on Tuesday 14th November 6-8pm at Riverside Studios near the Hammersmith Bridge.

We are delighted to be hosting a Q & A with guest speaker Phyllida Lloyd, Director of ‘Grenfell: In the words of survivors’.

This National Theatre play was written by Gillian Slovo and was delivered in collaboration with local community organisations. It ‘explores the courage and resilience of the survivors and their continued campaign for justice’. It is a verbatim play which means the words used were from the testimony of residents and aims to offer a voice to survivors of the fire.

Phyllida will talk about the production making process and the issues it raises.

You will also have the opportunity to meet the WLAC team and hear an overview of our work in the community.

The event is free to enter.  If you would like to come along, please reserve a spot at Eventbrite by clicking here, or email team@wlac.org.uk.

Everyone welcome! We look forward to seeing you there.
