West London Action for Children’s Anti Racism Commitment

  • At West London Action for Children the murder of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter Movement have mobilised us to think about how we work towards becoming an anti-racist organisation.

  • We are actively engaging in, sometimes uncomfortable, conversations about racism and exploring the implications of historic oppression and current discrimination that exist in ourselves and our society.

  • We would like to make positive change and to reduce our role in perpetuating implicit and explicit racism and micro-aggressions. We are committed to not becoming complacent, to continuing this process and to not forgetting the importance of anti-racism work and dialogue.
