WLAC kicks off its Centenary year with an Evening of Bridge

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the first event in our Centenary year, the WLAC Evening of Bridge, and helped to raise over £2,650.

Congratulations to all of our winners on the night, and thank you to the Holy Trinity Parish Centre for allowing us to use the Hall.

Well done and thank you to the Brook Green Events Group who worked valiantly in setting up the hall, and producing delicious home-made supper and drinks for all of our guests. Our enormous thanks go to Bective Leslie Marsh for their generous sponsorship of the event.

Last, but certainly not least, our very special thanks go to Edmund Sixsmith for organising the event, and ensuring it all ran so smoothly on the night. Everyone seemed to have a fabulous evening, and we can’t thank Edmund enough for his hard work.

What a great way to kick-start the Centenary year!
